1. Cub Scouts basically follows the school grade system:

Tiger Cubs - 1st Grade (6-7 years old)
Wolf - 2nd Grade (7-8 years old)
Bear - 3rd Grade (8-9 years old)
Webelos 1 - 4th Grade (9-10 years old)
Webelos 2 - 5th Grade (10 years old)

Boys who are older than 10, or who have completed the fifth grade,
can no longer join Cub Scouting, but they may be eligible to join
the Boy Scouting or Venturing program.

2. Through fundraisings our pack picks up all of the annual dues for the boys.

Uniforms are necessary and this will run you about $40.00-$70.00 (depending on how carried away you want to get). They should last 3-4 years, depending on how rough your scout plays and how much he grows.

Once a month, at the big Pack meeting, we ask the you contribute with a pot-luck (food) dish and a bottle of soda or juice. (estimate $10, which is roughly the cost of going to McD.).

Our pack is fairly unique, we truly reward effort during fundraising(s) projects.
When a scout helps the pack and brings money in, we split it with him, 50-50. The money is held in a "virtual" account, and he can apply his towards Summer Camp(the cost of going to it or buying supplies/gear). He could also use it for uniforms, etc at the Scout stores. If you want any more information regarding this policy, please contact your Den Leader or our Scout Master.

4. Most of our Scouts are active in sporting teams (Football and/or Baseball). We beleive that these activities are excellent, healthy activities and think it's a great way to help him grow. When the season is over, we gladly welcome them back.

5. We strongly encourage every scout to attend every meeting. If due to illness or other obligation, he can not make it, that's OK. Your Den Leader will work with you to help him make up the lost work toward his acheivement goal(s). We can not, however, replace the fun that he missed.
